i already asked this question in whonix forums but it seems more this would be the more appropriate forum. what are the dangers of connecting to a vps (over tor) that itself utilizes tor. the vps runs a service that connects to a reverse proxy over tor. wouldnt this be a tor over tor situation which is dangerous?
Initially it would be redundant for you to configure something in torrc like port 22 and use like “torsocks ssh user@onionv3” if your VPS in question had a whonix gateway routing all the things. But I think the biggest danger you would have with this would be to lock yourself out if you don’t configure the ufw correctly.
