# Captcha when fetching bridges in Tor Browser

hello.when we ask for bridges in _tor browser_,the captcha is everytime **freedom** so bots can bypass it and it is not a secure captcha 🙃 .

hello.if _tor_ decided to remove captcha,why they don’t complety remove it ?

The task is not trivial, hence the static Captcha for now. The UI will be eventually [implemented](https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/ux/design/-/issues/185).
