# Bitmessenger won't open

Downloaded Bitmessenger but when I try to open it, it acts like it’s trying to open, then nothing happens. Pls help!

Thanks, but that Wiki page doesn’t answer my question, so thought a Tor guru would have a suggestion since Bitmessenger is used a lot by Tor folks?
